These African Round Wall Hangings are handwoven with sustainably harvested papyrus and star grasses combined with colourful threads of upcycled grain sacks. This unique, natural home deco product was created in collaboration with UNHCR and its flagship global refugee brand MADE51. The focus is on working with refugee women who recently returned to Burundi after spending several years living in refugee camps in Tanzania. Through this ongoing partnership, former refugees can continue having a reliable income, supporting them to rebuild their families and livelihoods in their home communities.
